APRIL 12, 2025: Prairie Guardians, a not-for-profit organization formed in 2024, is hosting a Route 66 Scavenger Hunt April 12 from Chicago to McLean, IL. Although the event is focused on electric vehicles, any car or truck may enter. Each entry pays a $200 tax-deductible fee that includes 2 tee shirts and dinners at the end of the event. Entrants may start at any point along Route 66 and go at their own pace, but they will be given a list of historic sites and encouraged to take photos. Prizes will be awarded in several categories.
